Digital Strategy & Insights

A digital strategy is the decision about where to spend attention and money before you spend it. We build it from market research, your own analytics and conversations with the people who actually buy from you.

What's included?

  • Market and competitor research
  • Audience and positioning definition
  • Channel plan with budget allocation
  • Analytics setup and the metrics that matter
  • A quarterly roadmap your team can act on

Who is it for?

Businesses spending on marketing without a clear reason for each channel, or about to spend for the first time.

How does it work?

We start with a discovery round: goals, current numbers, what has been tried. Then research, then a roadmap you review before anything gets built. Usually four to six weeks to the first version, then revisited quarterly.

How long does it take?

  1. Week 1Discovery: goals, current numbers, what has already been tried and why it stopped.
  2. Weeks 2–3Research: market, competitors, and interviews with people who actually buy from you.
  3. Weeks 4–5Positioning and channel plan, with budget allocated per channel and a reason attached to each.
  4. Week 6Roadmap handover and analytics setup, then a review every quarter.

What do you actually receive?

  • A positioning document: who this is for, and what you are not competing on
  • Competitor breakdown with the gaps you can actually take
  • Channel plan with budget split and expected role per channel
  • Analytics and conversion tracking configured, with the events that matter
  • A quarterly roadmap with owners and sequencing
  • A one-page summary your team can act on without reading the rest

Most marketing money is not wasted on bad execution. It is wasted on execution of a decision nobody made — a channel that was added because a competitor was there, an audience that was assumed rather than checked, a metric that was measured because it was easy.

So the output of this work is not a deck. It is a set of decisions with reasons attached, in an order you can execute: which audience, which channels, what each channel is for, and what you will stop doing to pay for it.

What we look at first

  • Your own analytics, honestly: which pages convert and which traffic never had a chance.
  • Where existing customers actually came from, which is often not where the budget goes.
  • What competitors rank for and what nobody in the category has bothered to answer.
  • Unit economics, so the plan is priced against what a customer is worth rather than against a channel benchmark.

What sets the size of the engagement

Three things, in order: how many channels are actually in play, how much usable data already exists, and how many decision-makers have to agree. A single-channel business with clean analytics and one owner is a short piece of work. Four channels, no tracking and a committee is a different project, and we say which one it is before quoting rather than after.

What gets reported

  • Progress against the two or three outcomes agreed in the roadmap, not activity volume.
  • Cost per acquisition by channel, so budget decisions have a number behind them.
  • Conversion rate on the pages the strategy points traffic at.
  • What changed in the plan this quarter and why — a strategy that never changes is not being read.

What we need from you

Access to analytics and ad accounts, whatever you know about your margins, and one person who can decide. The single biggest accelerator is letting us talk to two or three recent customers — it is also the request most often refused, and the research is measurably worse without it.

  • Read-only access to analytics, Search Console and ad accounts.
  • One decision-maker, not a committee, for the roadmap review.
  • Two or three customer conversations, or permission to ask for them.

We design digital strategies aligned with business goals, backed by market research, analytics and actionable insights that help brands make better decisions and grow with clarity.

Questions about this service

How long does a digital strategy take?

Four to six weeks to the first version, depending on how much data already exists and how quickly we can talk to your customers. Revisited quarterly after that, because a strategy that is never revised is a document rather than a plan.

Do we need a strategy if we are already running campaigns?

If you can explain what each channel is for and what happens if you cut it, probably not. If the honest answer is that the mix grew by accretion, the strategy work usually pays for itself by identifying what to stop.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to analytics and ad accounts, whatever you know about your margins, and one or two customer conversations. If we can talk to three recent customers, the research gets much sharper.
