Month one is diagnosis and setup: audit, measurement, positioning and a plan. Months two and three are production and the first campaigns, where paid results become readable. From month four onwards the work is compounding and editing — publishing, optimising what is working and cutting what is not. Organic results usually appear between months three and six.

Three to six months on an established domain, and closer to nine to twelve on a new one. Technical fixes can move rankings within weeks because the pages already exist. New content is slower: it has to be found, assessed and accumulate authority. Full results from a sustained programme typically land between twelve and twenty-four months.
